Gorgeous. The colors, the rhythms, lines, values...everything comes together here, Mykul. It looks as if it just flowed right out of you but all the skill made possible this spontaneity...just so with Matisse. I like your comment, too, and agree with your insights.

thanks Marlene ~ I think it was the wise Picasso who near the end of his life stated; "in the end, there is only Matisse....." YES, I concur in that Matisse captured the essence of all art in his pursuit of the 'spirit' of it!
